Making the Choice

Morning Thoughts…

Some days are harder than others. Some days are bright and shining while other days can be quite dreary.

I was reading Habakkuk this morning.

“Even though the fig trees are all destroyed, and there is neither blossom left nor fruit; though the olive crops all fail, and the fields lie barren; even if the flocks die in the fields and the cattle barns are empty, yet I WILL REJOICE IN THE LORD; I WILL BE HAPPY in the God of my salvation. The Lord God is my strength; He will give me the speed of a deer and bring me safely over the mountains.” Habakkuk 3:17-19

No matter what type of day it is we can still CHOOSE to rejoice and be happy in His Presence. He promises to be our strength. He promises to see us safely to our destination.

Isn’t that beautiful?! ❤️😊

About unabashedhope

The name Unabashed Hope comes from my favorite poem by Emily Dickinson. Unabashed means not embarrassed, disconcerted or ashamed. I believe Emily's poem, Hope is the Thing with Feathers, says it best: Hope is the thing with feathers That perches in the soul, And sings the tune without the words, And never stops at all, And sweetest in the gale is heard; And sore must be the storm That could abash the little bird That kept so many warm. I've heard it in the chilliest land And on the strangest sea; Yet, never, in extremity, It asked a crumb of me.
